| WILPF the organization
WILPF has sections in 40countries: including: Colombia, Sierra
Leone, Palestine, France, Russia, and Japan. Coordinated by
an international office in Geneva.
U.S. WILPF carries out its work through grassroots organizing
by WILPF branches, coordinated by a national office in Philadelphia.
WILPF supports the work of the United Nations and has NGO
(Non Governmental Organization) status. WILPF to this date
has a membership of around 10,000 women around the word. WILPF
US has a membership of around 6, 000 women.

The local WILPF Ann Arbor
We are a branch of about 60-80 women in Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti
working for Peace and Justice; we have monthly meetings that
are mostly business meeting. Our actions depend of the energy
of our members.
